Raja’s poem
Never give up
There was a boy, in a normal neighbourhood,
in a normal house.
Like Pied Piper he chased the mouse.
He searched for treasures buried deep.
Of portals in which time took a leap.
He wanted to become someone extraordinary.
He wanted to be remembered in the books of history.
His dreams wouldn’t let him sleep.
His visions were big and deep.
What happened to the boy?
He grew up with sorrow and grief
By the window he used to weep
His fear ate up his self beliefs
His failures made him give up
The sky once which glittered with stars was dark
Dark as his life had become
With mundane routine an no fun
Had he not given up, his life would become
a story of inspiration to many others.
